Chef Käthi Fässler and her team have once again cooked their way to 16 Gault Millau points. With this award, the renowned gastronomic guide emphasises the many years of development work by Käthi Fässler, who has been at the helm of the Hof Weissbad kitchen for over 20 years.
She and her team of 30 employees combine classic Appenzell specialities with regional products to create exciting gourmet cuisine.

“Our star in the preparation kitchen is the GSM 5 Star. We use it every day to grate and cut all the vegetables for salads and sometimes also for soups. The machine has already paid for itself several times over and is in perfect condition. We are proud to produce regional, seasonal and fresh products. Without an infrastructure equipped with high-quality equipment and machines such as the GSM5 Star, we would not be able to cope with the daily challenges.”
